Here a few of the problems we have helped our clients resolve:

Our customer was having difficulties getting below the ship channel dredge spoil to get to this orifice valve.
• Caissons were built with a 3” ring and a 1” ring, one to carry air and one to carry water.
• This displaced the dredge spoil while going down to the valve.
• We utilized air boats and floats throughout the entire project to not only carry the caissons, but to carry materials back and forth to the valve.
• We ended up going down 18 feet in total to reach the valve.

A 12 mile 30” crude oil pipe needed to run straight through the town of Nederland
• DSI was able to efficiently lay the pipeline all while going directly through the center of town.
• We were able to derive a unique drilling system that allowed us to set up a million-pound rig in the middle of very swampy lands in order to complete drilling on this project.
• With this project going through a highly congested town, we specially engineered and constructed specialized stands to allow the overbend to be the right height, in order to conserve room we didn’t have to begin with.
